Sauna Session Time Length

Please arrive on time or early! We try to accommodate as many of our clients as possible, so we book the rooms back to back with enough time in between to clean and get things ready for the next client. Because of this, we ask that you arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment start time and make sure you vacate the room when your booked time is up.

We book 30, 45 or 60 minute sauna sessions. For a 60 minute session, we recommend spending up to 45- 50 minutes in the sauna and 10 – 15 minutes to cleanse, change & vacate the room. For a 45 minute session, we recommend 35 -40 minutes in the sauna, and rest of time to change into clothes and vacate the room.   For a 30 minute session, we recommend 25 minutes in the sauna and 5 minutes to cleanse, change & vacate the room.  More than your allotted time spent in the rooms causes delays with arriving appointments.  We thank you in advance for your courtesy.

First Visits

If it is your first time, please allow an extra few minutes to fill out paperwork and sign an informed consent form, which will outline in detail, all the information you need to gauge whether using the sauna is appropriate for you.  Sessions can be 10-50 minutes in length and best results are received with regular usage. It is wise to start with shorter sessions and gauge how you feel, if you haven’t done this before. Listen to your body!

On-Time

Arrive to your appointment on time and allow for a possible five minute wait before your room is available. The saunas are cleaned and sanitized after each session.

Late

If you are late and there is a session booked immediately after yours, it will cut into your sauna time.

Keep Clean

For an optimal sauna session, refrain from applying oils, lotions, perfume and makeup prior to sweat session. You want your skin to be clean of anything that might clog it, in order to sweat out impurities. We have face wipes for your convenience.

Shoes

Please no shoes in the sauna.

Clothing

Wear something you don’t mind sweating in like a bathing suit, loose cotton clothing, or use one of the towels we provide.  We also provide a towel to sit on and a cool lavendar scented washcloth after your session for a refreshing wipe down.

Food

Please do not eat in the sauna rooms.

Sauna Doors

Please shut the glass door gently.

Entertainment

Saunas are equipped with speakers that are Bluetooth enabled so you can enjoy your playlist, podcast or video OR unplug from devices and make it a quiet space. It’s up to you.

Plastics

Please refrain from bringing plastic water bottles into sauna. When plastic gets heated it leaches chemical into the water and you are trying to get rid of toxins. We provide alkaline, filtered water in double walled stainless steel cups and if you want to bring your own silicone covered glass water bottle into sauna, feel free.

Jewelry

Please remove your jewelry BEFORE you step into the sauna as metal gets hot.

Workout Timing

To increase your weight loss benefits, come to a session after you’ve already worked out so your heart rate is already elevated.

Cool Down

We do not have showers. It is important to let your body cool down naturally for 30-40 minutes afterwards.  Bring something to change into, that you don’t mind sweating in. When you eventually take a shower, you will want to brush your skin to fully eliminate toxins that you just sweated out.

Sharing

Be mindful if you’ve chosen to sauna with someone, please keep voices and music at a considerate volume.
